Ngorongoro Conservation Area is in northern Tanzania and is home to the immense, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and the big five that is elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino.

Established in 1959 as a multiple land use area, with wildlife coexisting with semi-nomadic Maasai pastoralists practicing traditional livestock grazing, it includes the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera with huge herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration.
